I thought about this very question over the weekend..and to my great surprise many answers came before me. Most artists seek the "dream" of achieving superstardom, fame, money and all the frosting that goes with it. What I am finding in the pursuant of this record deal is that I while I anxiously desire to let the Lord use my voice to bring joy to others, I must also occupy my focus on those who do NOT have a voice.

In the God that I serve, it is my duty to help the helpless, in one form or another. I am currently searching my heart, where the truth is to find where I need to be as a "helper", while forgetting that others are helping me. This is a bit of challenge, only because we are so accustomed to looking out for ourselves first, then seeing what's "left over" to help someone else.

So, my answer to this question is simply this: Wherever God calls me to be, I will follow. And what He asks me to do, I will do joyfully, and willingly. After all, if I am pursuing an American Dream, then surely I should be helping someone achieve theirs too so we can ALL share our dreams together!

This wonderful. I want to help people to, Even though my life is a struggle. What can I do to be a "helper" - I like that because when I think about my own suffering here in Nigeria. I feel helpless. But when I focus on my helplessness, it is crippling. Sometimes I hear about my brothers and sisters in America and I wonder do they think about us. Then I know I can't get caught up in self pity. I have to do something. Only, I don't know what to do.

The greatest calling of all is to help someone. The greatest gift is the ability to help someone. The greatest satisfaction is to be appreciated. The noblest helper... the one that helps without thought of reward.

To be able to help is an honor. Knowing that helping is easier than one could ever imagine is priceless. I help everytime I do for myself. I help everytime I do for another. There is less difference than one would think because in both cases I am doing for some one and in both cases I am propogating the notion that it is good to help.

I trust that as artists we remember to help ourselves. I hope that we constantly reinforce the concept that those who are able should. And for those who cannot, I pray that we are both the beacon and the shore. I pray that we show them the way and provide sustainance.

Peace. One Love. One World

For me helping others is a part of who I am...I came from a history of dispair and have been gifted and blessed with a desire to help within my community...I have worked a variety of areas: HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, Addictions and Mental Health my family, friends, community have been highly affected by all of the afore mentioned...My current project which is coming to reality is to establish a home for teen girls which I pray will be an effective vehicle to keep them from ever having to live with any of these issues. My rewards are not instant. But I receive them daily from people who join in my vision and become helpers and supporters of what I do....When I see the smile or hear the gratitude in someone's voice when I make a call to check in on them. For myself it is not what I take up in this world that makes me great but what I give up. Change for a better world and community for my children begin with me.

Blessed are they who know compassion...
You are more special than you will likely ever know. And even if you came close, you would be too humble to ackowledge what is so obvious to me. You will be an excellent champion for the young people we care so much about. I am thankful that I am fortunate enough to know you.

There is no doubt in my mind that your support, and words of encouragement will be a blessing to our artist and those who dream of an opportunity to sign with a record label. Moreover, the blessing come back to you many times over and is an enriching experience. You have already made me smile many times over and I want to thank you. During the course of my day there are many obstacles, distractions and other elements that can cripple onces ability to move forward. Mentally, when I come face to face with negative energy, and doubt, I think (BRICK WALL- BRICK WALL-BRICK WALL) My spirit will not receive negative energy, I block it from my mind I deny it entry . If you see the red border around this page, it represents the Brick Wall in my mind, to protect Moiko Artist from Negative energy and people who cast doubt and fear on their dreams. You Debbie, I embrace your blessed spirit, your understanding of our vision, and your participation as a Fan, and a supporter and a Rock. We receive your blessings and we return your love 100 folds. Thanks for being a Queen of Love.

Having a handlful of fans like you, is far more worth then having thousands at my feet to "take a piece of me" for themselves. You indeed have brought what is most desired in this record company which is the true spirit of the Lord that will perpual it into the stratesphere of great success, and you to will be splashed in its blessings!

I know exactly what I can do for my country because I've already been across that water to do it and I'm happy to be back on U.S. soil (lol). I believe in commitment and when I commit myself to doing something I like to see it all the way through to the end. The same commitment and self-less service I provided to the Army is the same type of commitment I intend to employ with the label that can see the value in me as an artist and the talent that God gave me to create the music that I produce. Anything worth having is worth working for and I've always felt like you get out what you put in and I'm willing to put in overtime to ensure the success of myself as well as my affiliates.
