I do not see any signs of real hip hop out in the secular scene right now. I am so tired of the same sounds that I am hearing.>Slow, boring, over digitized beats, weak lyrics like Swagger, grillz, money, cars, and disrespect to women. What ever happened to hip hop like Tribe Called Quest, Leaders of The New School, Das EFX, Fu-Schnickens, Super cat, Big Daddy Kane, KRS ONE, and Even Heavy D. They have the ability to have some of the best rhymes and don't even have to curse. They to me still rock a crowd better than any Dre, or 50 cent, or Snoop. LIL Jon is not a rapper. Justin Timberlake is not that great of a dancer. Beat street and Breakin 1 and 2 are still the best dance movies. I do not want to watch another music video unless there are B-boys, b-girls, poppers, lockers or dj's in the video. However, with that said there are a lot of very talented, undiscovered, independent, underground hip hop artists, dancers, em'cees, dj's and graffitti artists out there that are taking hip hop to the next level. MUCH RESPECT to them, and I do pray that they might bring Glory to God through their talents.
