The TruNiVerse Explosion is a variety entertainment show. Every Wednesday night from 8 till 10 pm-ish (usually much later) the raised stage at Lil Joes Tavern explodes with lights, music, talent and more as topcatlive and truniverse productions present the biggest, the baddest, the best talent showcase in the Ark-La-Tex. The TruNiVerse Explosion was founded by TopCat and Tru Sista (both of us are member of Moiko Records... Thank You) in Jan. of 2008. In our one year of existence we have created opportunities for hundreds of aspiring, emerging, and/or established artists to perform in a live atmosphere. Experience on the stage in priceless to anyone who is interested in the music industry.

As a long time member of Moiko Records it is my pleasure to extend our hands to our fellow Moiko Records members. Any Moiko Records member will be admitted at no charge to our venue, and to affiliate venues within our network. Any Moiko Records member who has performance experience, and a press kit can apply to be placed among the artists we consider for booking.

To be booked, a Moiko Records artist must have a personal reference from Moiko and a profile page on the www.topcatlive.com site (it is okay to get your page on topcatlive after a booking opportunity is extended - but artist must be on the site prior to actually performing). Currently R&B, neo-soul, blues. Spoken Word, and hiphop are the genres most likely to be considered, but artists of all genres are encouraged to apply and be registered for future considerations.
