- Carol (Coraleena) was born in Nottingham, England to Jamaican parents. She started singing at the age of 11. Having moved to the US with her parents at the age of 14 Coraleena put her singing on hold until her return to the UK at the age of 19 this was when her musical aspirations started to take form as she started singing under the tuteledge of producer/promoter Les Cliff. Once again Coraleena stopped after two years and returned to the USA to continue her education.
In 2005 upon her return once again to her country of birth she took began to sing again, only this time with the maturity and experience of one who has lived her life.
Coraleena was one of 40 artists recently nominated out of 10,000 applicants worldwide as one of the Best New Upcoming Artists in British Music Week. She continues to write her own songs and she also plays the African Djembe drums.

Just a short breakb
I am still here just taking a break from some health issues and a death in the famiy. I will not be gone long. The Moiko Records dream is no longer a dream but a reality. Things are happening for me. launch party
Sceldra was a true artist last nigjt performing at a venue with a very small turnout . The audience was woderful and we had a good time. Certain performers were selfish disrespectful and rude to others with egos that were much larger than their talent.
I am disgusted with these people and will never work on the same stage with them again, even if it means losing money. I have never been so angry as I was last night with people arriving with their entourage making demands and generaly being obnox… Continue
