Sammy Singer/Songwriter Contemporary Soul Artist Sammy Morales was born in Los Angeles where he showed early talent as a singer. He grew up listening to Soul and Jazz music and is considered a man of many talents. In addition to his accomplishments as a vocalist; this multi-talented performer also plays piano, drums. He studied piano with Jazz pianist-composer Mark Massey and studied drums under Oscar winning Murray Spivack, who is considered one of the master teachers. Sammy has played with various straight ahead Jazz and latin Jazz groups and enjoys performing with varieties of musical ensembles. A true musician and a singer. He enjoys playing music but at the core his passion is singing. Recently, he is composing music and focusing on his first new artist CD to be released July '09 Titled: "What Is Love" All original songs written by Sammy with talented musician/producer/songwriter Albert Lucero. I know you will enjoy his music, has that Norah Jones thing going on..
