The song "I Stand By You" was written by me for my wife and soulmate,Laura. She has been the inspiration for many songs,but more importantly,she has been the one and only person who has "stood by me" 100% in my efforts as a musician. She has been the brains of this outfit,advising me with the wisdom of a Sage,but still maintaining her sweet girl-next-door attitude. I have watched her over the years,virtually unchanging,except for a few lines in her face and some graying in her hair,she still looks like the young woman I married on December 13th,1975. She has even kept her 5'2" frame at 117 pounds,the same as when we married. She is a remarkable woman,mother and grandmother. She is the most thoughtful,selfless person I know,always generous,leaving me to consider my own standards.

"A Word From Our Sponsor..." is a 30 second radio spot I created to advertise my music store,Woody's Music! I wrote the script,and did the voices,and recorded it in my studio "Electric Lizardland Recording Studio". It is currently being aired on 103.1 FM in Gladwin,Michigan,where I sponsor a show featuring local musicians. That airs on Wednesday at 7 p.m. EST every week. "Alligator Blues " is true,except for the last verse,I just had to go there. I would not recommend one for a pet,and I sometimes wonder what I was thinking when I got him. I have shared my home with these living dinosaurs for 39 years,since I got my first one at the age of 15 on my birthday. I have three at this time,one adult,and two juveniles. "Big Green Lizard" was inspired by a pet iguana named "Larry" that I had for 13 years almost to the day. It was my imagination running wild...what if an alien reptile life form came here to spy on the human race? What if he took an undercover position as a Rock Star,but then got caught up in all the trappings and lost track of his mission? This is my tribute to all the sci-fi and horror films I viewed on the weekend creature features that were so popular in the sixties when I was a child. Little did I know when I wrote it that there is a fellow in the UK that started the "Reptilian Conspiracy Theory". His theory contends that there are reptilian alien life forms spying on us and they are shape-shifters that have taken high positions in entertainment and political arenas.

"Wooden Theremin" is a collaboration that I did with Pekkanini from Sweden. He has never been to the USA and I have never been to Sweden. We met each other on YouTube in January of 2008. The recording was done by e-mailing mp3s back and forth across the Atlantic. I played the lead guitar,twelve string electric and acoustic twelve string. He played the bass guitar,keys,theremin and programmed the drums. Most people don't know what a theremin is,not even most musicians! It is an instrument that is played by moving your hands in a magnetic field generated by two antennas. Your body's electrical charge interacts and changes volume and pitch. It's really strange,because you never actually touch the instrument! It looks very surreal when you see someone play one. It appears that you are some sort of magician,literally pulling music from the air!
