Now, doctors have overcome 30 years of false starts and found success with a fourth way to fight cancer: using the body's natural defender, the immune system. The approach is called a cancer vaccine, although it treats the disease rather than prevents it.

At a cancer conference Sunday,…

The Next Mountain

Just a word to share with all of our Artist, family and friends. There are those who wonder why and or how some people rise to the highest ..., sometimes you even look down on them and wonder who they "think" they are, or If they can - so can you. You are covetous and you are scornful, and you try to steal their blessings and their joy. Some of you even try to discourage them because you look upon them as you see yourself But Who God has blessed, let no man can curse. Don't wonder, don't hate,… Continue

New Album!

Hey Everyone, its been awhile, but I've been real busy :), luckily.

I went to New York/New Jersey where I recorded my new album with producer John Seymour (U2, DMB, Santana, Vertical Horizon). I was blessed to connect with David Mansfield who did all of my string arrangements and we brought members from New Jersey symphony for the quartet. Then it was off to England where I mastered the record at Abbey Road Studios with Steve Rooke (Beatles, Franz Ferdinand). So I got to work with 3… Continue

Continue

Music and Spiritual Practice - An Overview of Poligraf (part 4)

(The Wheel of Becoming - Symbolic Representation of Saṃsāra in Tibetan Buddhism)

Poligraf's first album is entitled "Samsara." Traditionally, the term refers to the Buddhist concept of the cycle of birth and death in which all beings in the universe take part and which can be escaped only through enlightenment. Personally, I agree with the view that it is rather that very same process of… Continue

Mojo Morgan's music is coloured by the blues.

BEING a good blues man is not about where you happened to have been born.

"Feeling the blues" is about feeling the music, and destitute or not, you either have it or you don't.

Coventry has been blessed with some great blues men such as Tim James, Joe Beale, John Warwick, John Alderson and the great Mojo Morgan.

Mojo Morgan was born in Gulson Road Hospital, in 1952. As a young man his chosen instrument was to be the bass guitar. He joined the popular 80s ska… Continue

Music and Spiritual Practice - An Overview of Poligraf (part 3)

Poligraf has been an essential part of my life since its inception at the beginning of February 1998.

The adventure began after the collapse of a band that probably never really existed as it only had a handful of rehearsals, but for which I had already written a lot of material. Left alone at the helm, I connected with a group of experienced musicians via a co-worker friend and after agreeing on a general aim and formula, we raised sail… Continue

Music and Spiritual Practice - An Overview of Poligraf (part 2)

(Buddha the Conqueror by Nicholas Roerich)

Buddhism has been an essential part of my life since the mid-90s.

The adventure began when I stumbled upon a feature in an encyclopedic dictionary that highlighted the Four Noble Truths. That finding immediately sparked my curiosity and a few days later I was buying a copy… Continue

Maya (illusion)

Maya (illusion)

The illusory world of Maya

is losing it's grip on me

Slowly but surely

the inner world is revealing itself

The meaningless chores

are still meaningless

To ascribe a meaning to them

is like painting stars with fake colors

The genesis of Life eludes everyone

leaving hearts bereft of desire

The so-called depression

is nothing but an absence of Life

Yet Life thrives in every being

who chooses to embrace… Continue

Own stipulation

What was the compensation

The life of your own stipulations

Or live to others expectations

The choice brings the result

When thought for a while

Was this the fault

Or just a stumble

To make halt

Felt he perplexed

What to opt

The decision so strenuous

Kept one walking

To find the one way frivolous

Leave the expectation or the stipulation

A self seeking expression

Without any stipulation

Will lead to… Continue
